Delray Beach Web Design for Businesses & Organizations

I’m based in Delray Beach, and I work with businesses here.

Understanding the business comes before deciding what the website needs.

I help businesses and organizations define the right website project, then design and develop it around what the business needs to accomplish.

The Website Isn't the First Decision

A website project can start with pages, features, design references and a list of things the new site should include.

I start somewhere else.

What does the business need the website to accomplish? Who needs to find it? What should they understand, and what should they do next?

Those decisions shape the website. They determine what needs to be built, what doesn't, and where the investment is most likely to matter.

For businesses and organizations, that distinction matters. The goal isn't simply to build a better website. It's to define the right project first.

Web Design & Development for the Businesses & Organizations That Make Up Delray Beach

Delray Beach is not one market. A restaurant on Atlantic Avenue, a nonprofit serving the community, a professional practice near Congress Avenue, and a service business in West Delray reach people in different ways.

Their websites should reflect that.

Downtown Delray Beach

Atlantic Avenue and the surrounding downtown districts support a dense mix of restaurants, retailers, hospitality, galleries, professional services, and other businesses competing for both local customers and visitors. The downtown itself includes distinct areas such as The Ave, Pineapple Grove, SOFA, US1 and Beachside.

For many of these businesses, the website has to establish the brand quickly, perform well in local search, and turn people who are actively comparing options into customers.

The Set & West Atlantic

West Atlantic and The Set have a different commercial character, with independent retailers, professional offices, service businesses, medical providers, galleries, and other locally owned businesses operating alongside continued redevelopment.

Here, a website often needs to do more than look established. It needs to make the business easy to find, explain what it offers, and give customers a clear reason to choose it.

Congress Ave & Delray's Commercial Corridors

Beyond downtown, Delray's commercial corridors include office, service, retail, medical, industrial, and other businesses that depend less on foot traffic and more on customers deliberately finding and evaluating them.

For these businesses, clear positioning, search visibility, useful service content, and a direct path to inquiry can matter more than elaborate design.

West Delray

West of the Turnpike, businesses serve a large residential market through shopping centers, professional offices, medical and personal services, restaurants, fitness businesses, and retail destinations such as Delray Marketplace. Its current directory reflects that broad mix of retail, dining, health, professional, and service businesses.

The website needs to help these businesses stand out when customers search, compare, and decide where to go or whom to contact.

Neighborhood & Home-Based Businesses

Delray Beach also has a large base of consultants, independent professionals, contractors, designers, wellness providers, and other businesses that operate from home or serve customers without a traditional storefront.

For these businesses, the website often is the primary place customers evaluate the company. Clear positioning, local search visibility, credibility, and an easy path to contact become especially important.

Different businesses and organizations need different websites. The right place to start is understanding what your business or organization needs the website to accomplish.

What I Build for Delray Beach Clients

I design, develop and rebuild websites for established Delray Beach businesses and organizations that need their website to do more than present information. The project may be a new business website, a WordPress or WooCommerce project, or a substantial rebuild of an existing site around what the business needs it to accomplish.

Custom Business Websites

Website design and development built around how customers find, understand, and choose the business, rather than forcing the business into a predetermined template or process.

Ecommerce & WooCommerce Development

WooCommerce website design and development built around the products, buying process, operations, and opportunities for organic search.

WordPress Website Rebuilds

Existing WordPress websites redesigned or rebuilt around what has changed in the business rather than simply being given a new look.

SEO & Organic Search

Site structure, content, and technical foundations designed to help the right people discover the business or organization through search.

Delray Beach Website Projects in Practice

The work can look very different from one business to the next. The common thread is starting with what the business needs the website to support, then building around that.

These two Delray Beach projects show that approach in very different settings, from a growing retail business connecting ecommerce with in-person sales to a luxury real estate organization managing a much larger digital presence.

Brisa Brisa

FROM ONLINE BOUTIQUE TO CONNECTED RETAIL

Brisa Brisa needed a WooCommerce ecommerce website that could support more than online sales. As the business expanded into pop-up events and local markets, I extended the site with an integrated point-of-sale system so products, inventory, and sales could work across both channels.

Following the initial success of the online store and pop-up business, Brisa Brisa is now preparing for its next step, adding a permanent Delray Beach retail location.

OUTCOME

One ecommerce platform supporting online and in-person sales, with the business now expanding into a permanent retail location.

Sotheby's International Realty Affiliate

A Sotheby’s International Realty affiliate with offices in Delray Beach and Boca Raton needed a digital presence capable of supporting a growing luxury real estate organization across multiple markets.

I ultimately designed and built 28 websites for the affiliate, creating a consistent framework that could support individual offices, agents, properties, and local markets while maintaining the standards expected of a luxury real estate brand.

OUTCOME

A coordinated digital presence that gave the affiliate dedicated local visibility across the South Florida luxury real estate markets it served.

The Hitching Post

Local When It Matters. Experienced Beyond Delray Beach.

Being based in Delray Beach means businesses looking for a local web designer, web developer, or WordPress developer can work directly with the person defining, designing and building their website.

But the work isn't limited by geography. I've built websites and digital strategies for businesses and organizations across the U.S. and Canada, from local companies to ecommerce businesses and larger organizations.

That combination matters. You get someone local enough to understand the work in context, with experience that extends well beyond the local market.
