It is not the right fit for every project. But for a business that needs a website it can actually run day to day, while still leaving room for future changes, WordPress is often the practical choice.
Decisions that shape a WordPress project
Most WordPress projects reach a point where the early decisions matter more than the design. Do you improve what is already there, rebuild it properly, or reconsider the technology it was built with?
Redesign or rebuild
Not every website that looks outdated needs to be rebuilt from scratch, and not every website that feels broken can be fixed with a redesign. The two solve different problems, and confusing them wastes money either way.
If the underlying site still works, a redesign may be enough. When the business, technology or objectives have changed, a website rebuild usually makes more sense. The important part is knowing which problem you are actually trying to solve.
Rebuilding on a better WordPress foundation
An existing website does not always need to stay on the system it was built with. I rebuild sites from older WordPress setups, other page builders and legacy HTML when the current technology makes the site harder to manage or change.
